A prominent piece of art of old Ukrainian language. Translation of Gospel in old Ukrainian language was started by M. Vasylevytch and archimandrite of Peresopnitsk monastery Grigoriy. Started in 1556 in monastery in village Dvirtsi (now Lviv region), finished in 1561 in old town Peresopnytsi (now village in Rivno region).
